Review & Optimise blood chemistry
Medical lab ranges are designed to detect disease, whereas optimal lab ranges are designed to detect imbalance or pathology that precedes disease.
The aim in Integrative medicine is to prevent disease and one tool is to look at the blood markers and how they relate to the individual’s medical history and complaint/s.
Typically, patients are referred to their preferred GP for blood testing to utilise Medicare rebates where possible. If further testing or private testing is required, this can be arranged directly without GP consultation.
